I checked out a store that Lancekik recomeneded. It's called Impromptu,2575 Mission St. in San Marino. They had a lot of cute, unique, folk art, vintage style decor. Mostly indoor. They had a lot of nice things, a little on the pricey side for some things but it's a nice resource if you're looking for something different. They also have a website....

Thanks Lancekik, I bought some thick black taper candles, and confetti for invites.
I also stopped by 99cent only today.... they were starting to clear out the Summer items and the top shelves had the lg. plastic candy bowls out....so any day now![]()

But did you go to the halloween club yet? You really need to go early in the season. I went on saturday and it was already pretty busy. They had quite a few big ticket items flying off the shelfs at 9.99 and 19.99 reg $49-$99. Just make sure to don't have to hurry back, you won't want to.

No, buckeneerbabe, haven't been there yet....but that's a good idea...maybe we'll head there after the kid's baseball practice...
thanks for the heads up... i did go to party city the other day and they were still unloading...it was a huge mess!, but they did have some okay stuff...the only thing I really wanted was a pirate hat with the feather, but i had to wait till payday... I may be back to work next week f/t depending on what the surgeon says, we'll see if I get cleared...I can't wait for the normal paycheck...then I can do some serious halloween shopping!
