Went out to pick up a new cellphone.

While at the shopping center, walked past a Winners HomeSense and saw gargoyles and celtic crosses. They are all made with finely detailed hard plaster. Nice and heavy, and clearly made to last through high winds and inclement weather.

The crosses were $20; picked up seven of them. Although the gargoyles were $60, I found a store manager and pointed out a couple of minor chips. She took $15 off the price tag and I bought two of them.

homegoods has the same gargoyles they are the biggest ones i've seen. I didn't see the crosses the last time i was there though.

Notice you live in Quebec, as well, WickedBB. And so it goes in Canada, it's always tough to find quality Halloween stuff. That's why this find was so great. Hopefully, your HomeSense is carrying the same stuff.

I've already gone back into the garage a couple of times to look at the gargoyles again. As sweet&sinister notes, they are huge. They are also heavy.

Man, I am beside myself with this purchase...I even said to hell with storage concerns, I had to have them.

Yeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa...lloween!

Actually I saw the same stuff at Winners in Vernon, BC back in the middle of August, so hopefully they won't be too hard to find in Canada. I had forgotten about them.
