We drove almost 2 hours yesterday and I took some pics for you guys. We were there 2 hours and I looked at the big props really closely to see how well they were made and to see what the "cheese factor" was. The manager was very helpful in answering my questions and seemed honest about what was "worth it" and what really wasn't.

The pics from Spirit Store are only on page 1. The first pic is of the creepy clown that we bought. We named him Lenny and then took him to Krispy Kreme and got him a hat. LOL!

The photos are great! Thanks for doing this for all of us. Now I really can't wait until the Dallas area stores open.

The evil clown is really scary looking. Wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley... Yikes!

No, it's a really good prop. Heavy, well made. Just too pricey for us. I hope they still have one after Halloween; I'd definitely get him then.
As for the half demon w/ cross, the only complaint we had with him was the cross. We aren't "bible-beating" weirdos or anything ... just didn't want to offend anyone. We took the cross off and attached a big bloody bone. lol!"Scare me once, shame on you. Scare me twice ... you'd better run like hell."

We live in the "buckle" of the Bible Belt and you'd be amazed how easy it is to offend these people. We actually have a family on our street that leaves their house every Halloween night because of our huge yard haunt. They tell their kids that we are celebrating "Satan's birthday". lol!

lol...what a bunch of dummies...i would love to be in your shoes...i would get kicks out of "offending" them!
It blows me away that in the year 2007 we still have religious fundamentalists in north america where we are one of the most richest and educated people in the world (excluding mexico of course!)

Thank you for sharing!! Was at Spirit yesterday and they were still setting a lot up.
I had to look at your other great pics. I love the fortune teller surrounded by the skeletons.
Purely and simply evil
