Did you happen to see a price on that bat. I asked my store and they said they had no idea, go figure. It was about 15ft up in the air and it was the only one they had.
The Jason Voorhees prop is really nice. It even makes that sound that you heard in the movie every time they showed him. They were setting him up today in our store. My apprehension is that like most of their animatronics, it will not work long after Haloween, if even then. These units seem to have a pretty poor reliability factor with even some store models not working. It would, however make a heck of a static prop if you can hold off and get it for half price after H'ween.
The bat was 99.99, I believe. They only had TWO in stock, including the demo. While I was there, some people were eying it. I may just go back and buy it. It was plugged in, which beats battery operated stuff.
As far as Clowns... I liked BOTH clowns they had. They have one Don Post static prop that is freakin' creepy. I just sits there holding a knife. There were two versions, one didn't have a knife. http://www.spirithalloween.com/decor...py-clown-prop/
The other clown wiggles back and forth, I think his eyes light up and he makes laughing noises. It comes in a cardboard box to look like a jack in the box. It's actually pretty cheesy, but I like it. http://www.spirithalloween.com/Decor...-Dancing-Clown
They had so many more full size props today. Sandman, zombie cowboy, mummy, corpses, etc....
I told my doctor friend that bought leatherface last year... and he highly encouraged me to buy Jason if I could. He said that his prop scared the shiat out of so many toters, it was worth every penny.
The eye movement on Jason is farking creepy. Even if he breaks, I think he'd make a good prop if you have the money to spare.

We’ve been to several Spirit stores now. Some have next to nothing and some have everything and more!! One we went to yesterday was amazing. They had rooms set up in the outside display windows, each with a different theme. Inside they had various theme areas that were very detailed. You could see the Halloween love that went into each scene. Needless to say, that store got our business.
I was talking to the assistant manager and I complemented her on the attention to detail. She said that their regional manager gives all Spirit stores a general idea of how to decorate but that they basically come in to blank walls and have to use their own imagination and creativity. I said, “Well then, you must love Halloween because it really shows at this store, compared to others. We do a garage haunt, you must do something too?” She said, “Oh, yes! I live on a corner lot and a do a huge cemetery scene with rotted corpses. I really love when the kids are too scared to go thru it!” We laughed and compared various scares. I guess the old adage is true...the employees make or break the business. This is our favorite Spirit store and I’m sure we’ll spend more money there.
