I was shocked. I was there the other day...and nothing. I went today, and it's full. They have some pretty cool stuff, so check it out. Nothing special, but neat nonetheless.

I really like what Kmart posted last year on the web. I live near Fort Worth and we don't have one close

Anyone have vids of any of the big animated stuff they have there? My local Kmart has a skeleton in a coffin that "sits up, turns, and speaks" for $100, but none on display. Also, they have "Head lift Harry" or something like that. And a ghoul with a skull candy diss in his hand ala the gemmy buttler.

Went back and checked out our local K-Mart last night... they finally had everything up on the shelves.
If you want costumes, especially for the kids, K-Mart is a good place to look.
I didn't get any vids of the coffin fella, but they did have one on display... he's kinda cool, pretty noisy
motor in a quiet place. The eyes looked a little cheesey in my opinion.
There's some multi-colored lights in the coffin that flash as well.
There's a control on the end of the coffin that I really didn't look at to see what it did.
Couple this prop with a fogger and some more lights, you'd have a pretty decent effect.
Is it worth a "C" note? Not if you're planning on using this prop as your main attraction, but it wouldn't
be bad as a side note. Could be really nice with some work on the skeleton and his costume.
The coffin is a vinyl covered box that feels like cardboard on the inside... it's got white padding on the
inside and doesn't look too bad.
My two cents worth.Happy Haunting!!

after reading this thread, I stopped by a local Kmart to check this thing out.
Too bad they didnt have one on display. From the box it seemed ok.
I'd love to see one in action though.

Kmart usually has a few cool things and the prices are tough to beat. I picked up two lengths of plastic "rusty chain" for 5 bones each. They had the jabber jaws skeletons, and a couple of nice foam tombstones. The animatronics are flimsy at best. You can really score after Halloween and the longer you wait the better. I got a couple of 39.00 costumes for 1.99 each last year when the stuff was marked down 90%. Our stores get picked over fairly early so now is the time if you plan to shop there for something you really want.

To add to my "review" above, the prop is only about 4 - 4 1/2' long... a bit less than life sized.
Just thought I should add that.Happy Haunting!!
