Thumbs up Silly String

We were at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and they had cans of Silly String on sale for like 50 cents each so we bought about 20 cans of the fluorescent colors (we do extensive black lighting in our yard). Our entire boo crew will be armed with a couple of cans. With a good shake, a can will squirt about 20'.

Our plan...to string the brats that never have the nerve to come up to the porch but stand by the street yelling "YOU DON'T SCARE ME!"

I cringe to think what our yard is going to look like the morning of Nov 1st! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I seem to recall Silly String being flamable. You might want to double check that on the can. I might be wrong....it's happened before.

I hadn't thought about that but I don't see where it would be a problem since it will be squirted in the opposite direction of the lights.

Hmmm...I'll have to discuss that with hubby.

My wife banned silly string at our house. People got crazy and sprayed it all over, and it stains.

Outside... I guess it just cleans up with a rake and a hose?

Cleaning it up out of the grass isn't too bad but it does stain concrete, just so ya know. Sounds like fun though!

I like it when they say stuff like "you don't scare me", then as they are walking off I scrape a shovel on the driveway and they jump about ten feet up in the air... but the weren't scared, haha.

hehehe yeah, exactly. I love that.

Last year, there was a group of about 3 or 4 kids that stood right in our driveway doing the 'YOU DONT SCARE ME' thing...our son (that was in a hiding place) popped out about 4 feet in front of them and they all screamed and took off running. Our son chased them down the driveway and about half way across the front of the neighbors yard then quit and turned to return to his post. At that moment, the kids (watching over their shoulders) stopped running...untill they noticed my hubby tearing across the neighbors lawn to continue the chase after them! They literally scattered screaming at the top of their lungs ROFL! We were all laughing so hard, my stomach literally hurt. My sister, who had never witnessed a yard haunt before had tears of laughter in her eyes. She was actually snorting ROFL!

On an informative haunting note...having a mask that covers your mouth helps to hide your laughing, smiling face!

.50c a can? I might pass this out instead of my glow necklaces. What do y'all think? Do you think the kids would be disappointed or tick off parents? I don't want parents to come back in the middle of the night and use it on my house!
