I see that all the time at the holidays. Isn't that funny? Some folks will pay more just to have the holiday wrapper on the same piece of candy they could get for less if it was in the regular wrapper. *scratches head*

Neither one of them had a Holiday wrapper, they were all just the regular wrapper!

I bought some cute halloween candy from Walgreens today. They have suckers where the sticks are arm and leg bones and jolly rancher flavored suckers shaped in horror monsters, also lots of gummy body parts or bugs. I found small test tubes filled with a sugery powder at a Dollar Tree. Not sure what kids will like but our little town NEVER sells cool stuff like this so I splurged!

The grocery store I go to had their bulk candy on sale, 179 a pound. I spent $12 , got over 300 pieces, , it was laffy taffy, tootsie pops, etc. Seeing as I have two camp ground haunts to buy for, home as well(not many for home, but still) I have been buying for a few weeks, ,still need 5-6 hundred more pieces. K-marts bag sounds like a good deal.! Will hve to check it out.
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!

Oriental Trading company has a great selection of unusual candies, if you are looking for different items to hand out...or if you have a fairly small amount of ToT's and can afford to spend a little more on unique candy items.
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.

We are doing a Murder Mystery this year so I am going to order from Oriental Trading the "pixisticks" in a Poison Bottle. $5.95 for a dozen X 4, but they are pretty cool. They also have the gum/tape in the rounded containers that the gum is the same but they have different designs on the containers such as Mummy Wrap, well this year they did one that is "Crime Scene Tape" again $5.95 a dozen.
