A simple but effective gag is to buy from your favorite DIY store 2 lengths of good-sized shain (mine had about 1" x 1.5" links, 1/4" thick), about 2' long each. Make a simple clasp out of coat-hanger or similar wire at one end of each. Tie a piece of nylon string to the other end of the chain, pass through an eye-screw, then with a weight attached to the other end of the string.

The gag is this: you are "shackled" up against a wall with short chains. Harmless, right? Wrong. As guests pass by, you simply walk forward & reach for them. The string gives you about 4' - 5' of space, then just step back against the wall and the weights pull the chains right back where they were, ready for your next victims.
"Well I guess they were wrong then, weren't they?" I-gor

There's also the wet yarn hanging down from the ceiling to brush over the ToTs faces - it feels like spiderwebs.

Strobe lights with simple store-bought animatronics are great too, especially if they are motion activated.
