May I suggests a "Dry Run", no pun intended. Toss a block into the spa this weekend and monitor the results.

For continuous fog, you could set up a pair of small foggers and set their timers so that they fire in a coordinated fashion. With three machines, you might get a steady flow.

It sounds like a really novel set-up, good luck with it.

Thanks all for the responses and ideas. We are going to check the price of dry ice and maybe try a 'dry' run, and also look into the pond fogger as that we can use year after year. If it all works, I'll take pictures. We already have a small fogger that will be hooked up to the cannon porthole on the ship, so that alone might suffice.

DJM, I used dry ice in a fog chiller and I thought it worked great.

I just was not impressed with dry ice for fog use. The ommercial foggers imo do a better job for the price.

I never have achieved the results I wanted from dry ice....not to sound redundant, but using it as a fog chiller is the best way to go...but even so, wind could be your worst enemy!
