Does anyone know of a place the sells 'em for relatively cheap? I thought of a new idea for the wedding (spelling out our names on the mini funkins), but would rather not spend the $8-a-pop. I'm specifically looking for the really small ones that are about 6 inches tall. Any help, as always, will be greatly appreciated.

Funkins are fake pumpkins that you can carve. The problem is, they aren't cheap. Even with a coupon, a decent sized funkin is going to cost 15 bucks.

Michaels has a knockoff brand of fake pumpkins that may be cheaper, especially with a coupon. I think Joanne's stocks the real deal and often runs hefty sales during the season if you can afford to wait and see.

I thought all fake pumpkins were called funkins. So thats just one brand? Hmm. I was referring to whatever they sell at Michaels. The mini ones are like $7 or so. Just thought maybe someone knew of some place (online perhaps?) sold 'em for less.

I think Hobby Lobby carries the Funkins brand but they're really expensive. I get the kind that Michaels have and I use the 40% off coupons.

We have a michael's pumpkin too... but haven't carved it. Do any of you know if they are as carvable as a funkin? I mean, there must be a reason they are so expensive... right?

I have about 30 of the Michaels foam pumpkins, all different sizes. Yes they are carvable, just not as thick as the Funkins brand. I've animated several of them, including Count Jackula.
I don't want to just scare them... I want to mess them up for life!
