Hey, my theme this year is an insane asylum. So far i have a guillotine, a cemetery, dummy's, a tent with like a lab in it, and a couple skeletons. Do you guys have anymore ideas?

do you have any restraints? like a straight jacket or even hospital restraints? you could restrain the skellies or let your "patients" wear them

Somebody getting a lobotomy would be nice. Actors playing insane and throwing themselves up against plexiglass windows with holes drilled through the windows like the cells in Silence of the Lambs would be good. Hydro therapy tanks are always fun. Electroshock therapy is always good for a laugh.

Electric shock room,
Labotomy Room
Day Room with people just wandering around in circles acting all psycho
padded cell with someone beating their head against a wall
someone strapped to a table, and a mad doctor doing surgey on them.

If you can get a good prop with actor being sawed on or operated on that always has a good effect. I have seen prop bodies with red dyed spaghetti and long sausage links with a live actors head. They pretend to be dead while the doctor is silently operating or softley giggling pulling out bits and then when the TOT goes by they actor opens his eyes and screams HELP ME!!!!!

I personally like the guy who pretends he is in charge and discussing the "patients" behind the doors in room and then as he approaches the TOTs warning them of the danger some orderlies run up to him and take away the (fake) hatchet he was hiding behind his back. As they watch this a vile or real creepy patient has come up behind them and is in their midst...add scream, scare or shaker can and you got a decent scare. Lot of work because it is a scene, rewarding because of the layers.
