I have some things I want to sell on Ebay. When you sell Halloween items do you wait until it is closer to the holiday, or just post them anytime? My gut feeling would be to wait until late September or so...

I found the second week of Oct to be the best for me with a three day Auction.

I think a ot depends on the price. If its a high ticket item you might want to list a little earlier before people spend all of their budgeted money. A less exspensive item I would say the 1st or 2nd week.

Some masks (Ed Big Daddy Roth, Michael Myers, Frankenstein monster), some tabletop houses and such, and anything else I can dig out and sell to offset the stuff that I'm buying!

I put them on a couple weeks before Halloween. I usually sell last year's costumes and any bulk clearance stuff we got.

All I've ever sold was some Lemax ST on ebay, and I found that it was pretty much a crap shoot as far as time of year. It just depends on what you have and how badly the ebay shoppers want one. The most money I've ever made was in the middle of March when I sold a Lemax Haunted Galleon. It ended up going for almost $80.00 for a piece I got with a Michael's coupon for $25.99. Ebay shoppers are funny, and hard to judge sometimes.
