Well I stumbled upon the Shop of Horrors at buycostume.com. With the .99 cent shipping mentioned in the coupons thread, I decided to pick up a few things. Quite a few things are on clearance, so there are deals to be had imho.

I picked up a few Rubber Rats on clearance for $3.59 each. I am planning to integrate these with some ankle ticklers. Ok.. so I haven't even began to build any ankle ticklers, but I got the rats!

Next was the Skull Bride Prop head for $12.99. Not as good a deal as the rats, but I figured I could make a tombstone pop-up with it. I'm artistically challenged, and even more time-management challenged, so it seemed like a good time saver.

Third on the list was a 6' Hanging Grim Reaper for $34.99. I thought about this one for a while. Getting into this price range always makes me think. However, this is 6' tall and has both LED eyes and some sort of shaking motion. I'm not putting much faith in the motion.. The LEDs do add a few bucks to the value.

Last but not least was my big ticket item, a 6' Standing Skullman for $39.99. I see a lot of hanging props in this price range, but I thought a free-standing prop for $40 wasn't too bad.

All in all, spent $102 and got the .99 cent shipping.

We're moving into our first house, so I have no decorations (decorations at our apartment consisted of a pumpkin. oh and a candle.).. So picking up a few pre-made Halloween decorations is almost a necessity at this point.. Although it kill me to know you guys are making this stuff for <$20!

Let me know what all of you are picking up!

I love buycostumes.com. I placed several orders last year, and placed one last night too. All I got was some scene setters, spiders, and these "character creations" that are monster scene setters (witch, frankenstein, etc) since our theme is classic halloween.

    I'm sure more will come.

Oooooh, I got the standing skull man last year and put some cool white LED eyes in his head and turned him into an FCG. He's awesome!

Sounds great! It's hard to tell what kind of quality you're gonna get with these things. Looking forward to getting him!

I know I talk about the site so much you guys think I'm associated with it, but I'm not.... but if you sign up with www.fatwallet.com (which is just another message board site, no charge)... you can click a link to stores from that site and get money back on purchases.

In this case, buycostumes.com is on the list and you can get a whopping 7% back! They also tell you what coupons are available for any given store.

Check it out and other stores you frequent online, too.
