Hello all!
I was just wondering if anyone new whether the 2007 Leatherface was any different from the 06 Model? The reason I ask is they used cheap platic for the chainsaw and it eventually cracks like a serpentine belt does on a car. Only after a few uses too! Then is just snapped all together and thus ruined the prop! So i was hoping the would atleast use something more durabel this year!

I put two emails into to gemmy asking if they retooled the leatherface but of course I still havent received a response! Hopefully as they come out I will be able to get a look at them.

My Leatherface was broken too! The chainsaw and his arms! I was wanting to get leatherface again but they told me they would not be making it again. Instead of Leatherface they are sending me Jason from friday the 13th.

Really why does it say its a available at spencers and walmart this year?

Leatherface was sold at our local Spencer and Spirit stores last year. They really sold out quick.
However, both stores had broken displays from people holding the chainsaw blade/belt. The display at Spirit actually fell to the floor and did a faceplant after a kid grabbed it. It was useless after that. I think they sold it for $100.00

I managed to get one last year,but I definitely handle it with care and put it out of range from the kiddies...and adults at the annual party!

Well the thing is I got mine Brand new unopened! First the head was smushed and stuck in that smushed state like they threw him in the box wrong and warped. So I exchanged the head. After all that I realized his arm was broke! Cant they pack these things better? Needless to say I got the whole thing sqaured away and on Halloween, after running him for about 20 times the stupid belt just stress cracked in like 15 places and finally snaped. Ive emaile dthem quite a few time and have received no response! I loved this thing when it worked but I have the feeling there just in it for the money as their customer service is lousy!
