I'm just wondering if anyone collections very specific items that represent the season. Whether it's props or simple decorations, like I do.

For example, I collect anything with black cats..particularly smiling black cats w/ crazy eyes!

I'd love to see pics of your collections.

While they're only on display during the Halloween season, my wife and I have a pretty extensive collection of Christopher Radko blown glass ornaments. While we collect both Christmas and Halloween, we have close to 30 Halloween ornaments that we display. I have a couple of black cat ones that you'd love!. I'll post some pics when we get them out.

I collect skullies and skellies and it has gotten way out of control so now I have to really really like a skully or skelly before I can purchase it - it can't just be cheap. Pirate skullies and skellies are forbidden and have no place in my collection. So if it has an eyepatch it's out. Also none of my skellies is riding a surfboard or a motorcycle - yuck.

I collect Crypt Keeper things, I keep it all in my home office, Just had to explain it to my four year old grand daughter on her visit in town this past weekend. Rick

I suppose you could count my modest animal skull collection here.

LOL...all my stuff has gotten out of control. Was a skele collection...but that has gotten too large...then I got into anything zombie...had to cut that as well. Now I just try to focus on high quality stuff...display quality that I can really enjoy. That I was a collector turned pack rat :-P

I collect Halloween music. I also like anything Vintage Halloween, but don't have much of a collection of it as most of my funds (not much to start with) go towards music.

My gf and I used to make and sell Day of the Dead figures, so we have a DOTD kitchen with lots of DOTD skeletons.

My 'collection' is pretty random, though I've got an assortment of parachute Halloween stuffed characters. Everything else is one-of-this, another-of-that. Like those above, I'll just admit I'm a Halloween Pack Rat.

I wanted to collect owls, but I never find any owl stuff when I'm out looking. So actually, I have a bit of a JOL collection starting, even though I didn't intend it. It's so easy to spot a JOL and when I like one and the price is right I take it home. I think they look pretty good in the kitchen so that's where most of the stuff with JOL's are. I have oven mitt, place mats, etc...
Oh yes, year round!
