I used my coupon yesterday, got the pillar with the skull on top. It has RIP in it, will look good in the graveyard. I also got some spider things for my costume. I will be back later in the week, I have a hobby lobby coupon also!

I used my coupon for the vampire bust.

I asked the clerk if she thought I could use it in the passenger seat of my car so I could use the HOV lane. She didnt think it was very funny.
I kind of did that idea on the way home. I made my wife hold it all the way home.

what does everyone think of the caged skeleton that shakes they have at Micheals?
I think I could make one better. but I just dont have the time. and I sorta dont think this one is too bad.
but then I saw this:

but it seems to have an electrical cord. that would be difficult to hide.

I personally think it's overpriced, but my husband and a friend just loved it so now we own it. It works well, shakes, lights up and makes sounds. Make sure you get 40% off though. I don't know how you could make a better one, being all that it does.

Now that haunted chandelier, I think you could make that easily. Some rings of different sizes, real spanish moss, some flicker bulbs and bones attached. Yeah, you can do it!

I guess I meant I would use a better looking skeleton. and no sound.
I dont like alot of the sounds these commercially produced props make. sometimes I think it would be better w/o sound.
but have less and less time now that I have a baby. I cant get to more than one project. And I do sorta like this. I may break down and buy it.

I wanted to point out that Michaels had small battery operated strobe lights with motion activated sounds. (thankfully you can use just the storbes , for those of us that dont want sound)
they really set off the busts they sell. and cause they are battery operated you can put them anywhere.
