Hey guys, I came accross a video that someone posted on the net. They used a movie projector and projected onto their house from accross the street. It would flash white everyone once and a while with a thunder sound effect that looked really cool. They also had white ghosts that would fly around the yard and walk on the roof.I would like to try and do something like that this year since I alreay have a portable movie projector.

Any Ideas on the best way to create the video? I know I can just site outside with my laptop and projector to align everything and set everything in the right places on the screen. But do you have any ideas on what would be the best software to make the animations and what not?

Another Idea I had for using the projector was to try and use the projector to make it look like bugs are crawling on the walls and stuff like they do in the Mummy rid at universal studios. But agian I don't know how to get the bug animations to do it.

I think you got something here. I believe you can achieve both effects easily.

I visited a haunt in Delaware that had a room covered with thousands of fake roaches. They were static but with a strobe light applied it gave the appearance of movement.

I feel that if the area you wish to apply light to is normally a dark area you can achieve the same effect. However, the only time you will see the bugs is when there is "lighting" flash (which can be good or bad depending on the effect you wish to give).

If you are going to run this off of your laptop I can probably sync up some white flashes to a thunder sound track and put it into a full screen Flash document.

I hope I am of some help.

If you could create the flash file synced with white flashes to thunder that would be great.

I'd like to use a projector at a party...just horror movie clips of the best parts! Does anyone know of a source who would have just clips? I'm not computer savvy enough to cut them and burn it myself.
