Not to sound stupid, is "Dear Morticia" a national columnist, or are you going to be this forum's Morticia (so we should submit our probs to you?) Sounds kinda fun!

Dear Morticia,
I'm a young wizard who has just come of age. I've taken a liking to a beautiful girl but her brother is my best friend and he definitely does NOT approve, How can I keep my girl and my best friend?

Dear Mortica,
I met this great ghoul on night at the Monster Mash. We really hit it off but her mom is a real witch and threatened to turn me into a toad if she saw me coming around again.
What is the best way to deal with this situation?
A love lorn zombie." There could be no doubt of the design of my tormentors. Oh, most unrelenting! Oh, most demoniac of men! 'Death,' I said, 'any death but that of the pit.'"

Boy I wish I had some of your talent...those are good....but can we make them a bit more kid oriented....These are going in my yearly Halloween book for the kids party. Here is an example from last year that I used...
"Dear Morticia, Last year we had three girls drop their bags of
candy and run off crying and screaming. I felt so proud, ah, bad...
Basically, we learned this lesson a long time ago. We have two
ways up to the door to get candy. The scare route, and the friendly
route. We mark them - but still we get a few that ignore them and
they end up meeting some pretty scary props.
Halloween 2004 was the best. We had a father and daughter come
up the scary route and Dracula popped up at 9' tall. The father
screamed and fell backward yelling. The daughter, about 8 or 9 years
old, just stood there laughing at her dad. The girl came to the door by
herself. It was funny and still talked about today.
Fallen Father
Dear Fallen Father Bubula, That is simply darling. Gomez and I would
have marveled in the theatrics of the evening. Children can be very
surprising, so can adults. I think, this year, we may have Uncle Fester
outside lighting the way with his electricity."
