    Ahhh...

I knew it was just a matter of time before Zombies made it to the mainstream...

and just in time for back To School Shopping!

Just makes me grin from ear to ear. I'm so proud of Penneys.

Actually, I think it's as fitting as ever; don't forget, much of the original Dawn of the Dead (1979)'s mall scenes took place in the JC Penney's at the Monroeville Mall in PA.
So zombies in/around/selling a JC Penney's seems just right to me! Bravo for them!

I'm so glad it's not just me who remembers that!

Kudos to JC Penney for a great commercial with an old school throwback from a great zombie movie!!!
I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.

    Laurie: "Was that the boogeyman?"
Dr. Loomis: "As a matter of fact...that was."

Hahaha! Nah, I'm just another Halloween n' Horror lovin' pain in the butt... and once in a great while the fairly useless information caught in my mental lint trap finds an appropriate means of release.
    It's my pain-in-the-butt-ness which is infinite! :-)

P.S. If 'pain-in-the-butt-ness' is not already trademarked, I'm on it...

Hehe! I recall that most of their 'horde' of stolen merchandise was taken from JC Penney shelves... but one of the best lines in the film was in a gun shop. Peter picks up an expensive, ultra-scoped rifle and looks through it, murmuring 'Scene of the crime.'
    Steven says 'How's that?'
Peter replies with a smirk, 'The only person who could miss with this thing is the sucker with the bread to buy it.'

Just a good line. Didn't mean to derail the thread, just tossing it in.
