I loaded up the niece and best friend and went to Garden Ridge yesterday.
They've started stocking the Halloween merchandise! Cool foam Gargoyles,(got two) $9.99 ea. They have the WHOLE line of life size props...Mad Scientist, Creepy Butler, and one other that escapes me right now. They had several Donna the Dead(s). For those of you that do Spooky Town and Lemax, they were all on 50% discount, including the small accessories...wish I had enough surface space left to do a display, those are too cool. They also had several sizes of "chains". Creepy cats in differing poses (if you can find one that hasn't been roughed up in shipping, these really are rather creepy); all kinds of hanging ghouls in various styles (most are kind of small but could be added to for size).

And for the Gemmy blowup fans... They had so many it was unreal, the Gargoyle, The Horse Drawn Hearse, A Giant Pumpkin with Spinning Mesmerizing Eyes, Several Variations of Monsters in Hot Rods, A Biker Skelly on a Motorcycle, and a bunch more that I can't remember right now.

This was only the beginning of the stocking, If I'd had a box cutter handy I could have told you more but I didn't and they probably would've thrown us out anyway if I had!

I hope you have fun shopping and that you're in a cooler climate because their air was out and it was 98 here in Dallas yesterday. However, I imagine everyone here has shed a little sweat in the name of our game.
But sweetheart the Headless Horseman prop is ONLY $3,500.00 give or take...

I have a Garden Ridge store 10 minutes from the house. Last year I bought and shipped several items for another Forum member.
I'd be glad to do the same for anybody else that doesn't have a Garden Ridge nearby.
I hate to see anyone ripped-off on E-bay.

that is an amazing offer daveinthegrave, my question to you is if they have anything that I might like, can you or will you ship to Canada.

does anyone know what they have in the way of pirates and what the pricing is?

Halloweenking--I'm going to try to stop by my Garden Ridge today. If the store is stocked, I'll make a list of what they have and let you know.
I've shipped to Canada many times via US mail, but some animatronic figures might be bigger than the postal service wants to accept. I guess FedEx would ship to Canada or maybe even UPS?
I'd be glad to try if I can help you out.
I'll see if they stock any pirates also.
