I think we should have a section that would list all halloween/horror related youtube entries.
I have been surfing those sites and there is some good stuff out there.

I'm just figuring out how to navigate YouTube well. I found that big scream has more videos on there than I though. Some of them are short pieces of their DVDs, but some are full length "how to's" including the "floating head." http://www.youtube.com/user/bigscreamtv

A couple years ago we made our own floating head video, it wasn't that hard. I used a big goofy monster mask and made him brush his teeth. Then one of our rooms was a bathroom. You would look through the "back of the miror" to see into the room which is where we put the floating head "brushing his teeth" in the mirror. Had a shower with a translucent curtain, blood flowing from the shower head against it. It allowed us add another room without taking up precious "inside" space.

I think we're going to make a "ghost pirate head" this year to tell the story of how our house became the haunted pirate ship it is.
