Check out Masterpiece eyes. At the home page click on "eyes" at the top of the menu on the left of the screen and you will find all kinds of eyes you can down load and edit with a paint program to get what you want. http://www.softglasseyes.com/ As for the viens get some red yarn and strip out the threads and use clear finger nail polish to stick them to the ping pong ball. They make very realistic viens.

    Wow, bw1! Great idea!

I have that eye website in my faves now for future reference! Got to be something I can do with those great eye pics!

Good luck with your pingpong balls, derek!

If you want to float them in a cauldron you can weight them down.
I put a screw in the bottom of the ping pong ball, so the eyes are always looking up.

Very clever, as the Lady above mentioned!

Only one question, I know if "I" drill a screw into my ping pong balls.. they are gonna leak and fill up and then sink. I jsut know it.

Do you use a sealant or a glue of somekind to make sure they are still water tight??

If you put a dab of clear silicone sealant or "Goop" over the small hole before
screwing in a small pan head sheet metal screw it will be sealed for good. I
would use stainless steel screws so they don't rust over time. You could even
apply some goop to the head of the screw after it's inserted and attach some
yarn or string to that for an optic nerve.
