as anyone seen this apear in stores somewhere yet ? and for cheaper then this seller offers it ?

i know we wont be seing those in Quebec Canada so if any of you happen to see this cheaper can you please Pm me or post it here ? i am guessing gemmy makes it and would be neat for our haunted mansion theme

I saw this on ebay last night. It has to be made by Gemmy as it looks just like the butler except for a new head. Even the pose is the same. I know the Gemmy website is in the process of being updated to include the new Halloween stuff but I dont know when it will be done. I am checking the site daily. I am a little disappointed in this item especially because I was impressed by the Jason animatronic that was on the SpiritHalloween website. I am sure that Marvin Mortician will be available in massive quantities at walmart.

Yup, I agree with Kronax.... in another few months this prop will probably be at Wal-Mart (and probably Garden Ridge as well).

I might also add, HOLY CRUD... their prices are HIGH!

I couldn't try him out because he was up on several pallets & boxes. They had about 8 different Gemmy life-size animated props. He looks pretty good though. I went to Garden Ridge this evening & they had quite a bit of halloween stuff out. Yipppeeee

That would fit well in a haunted mansion theme! I’m sure they’ll have them at Spencers or Spirit Halloween and Walmart this year.

Kronax: Can you please post the link for the animated Jason you saw on the Spirit Halloween website? I’ve looked there and can’t seem to find it. We saw the six foot tall animated Freddy at Spirt Halloween last year and it was pretty bad. Very sloppy looking and the mouth movement didn’t match the words. I’m wondering if the Jason is any better.

I also saw it on the spirit halloween website about a week ago. You had to dig around to find it, it was linked to the Texas chainsaw massacre animated figure. Now I cant find either one on the website.

Thanks, Kronax and Matt B. It looks pretty good but I wonder what the animation is? I don’t think Jason ever talked so does it just play background music? Maybe he slashes the air with his machete. We never buy animatronics on line because I like to see them up close in person. Last year when we saw Leatherface on the Spirit Halloween website we thought he looked really lame. Then I saw him in person at Spencers and the eyes were so creepy and real looking that I just had to have him! For the expense of animatronics I just have to see it in person first to determine if it’s worth the cost.

Witch From Canada, you are at a disadvantage not being able to see before you buy but I do seem to remember that you have had really good results buying animatronics on line.

Mrs. Leatherface: The link for Jason is below. After talking to a customer service woman, she said the Jason is a limited addition piece and each store will only get one. According to her he swings the knife, body twists left and right, head turns and his eyes move. I asked about the sound and she said there are screams and various noises you would here in the woods.
