I have one other concept for my haunt that I may need some inspiration. I am doing a toy room/doll room. I need some links to some of those crazed evil doll sites I have found a few I may dress some of my neiborhood children to look like these dolls, I bought some dolls at a thrift store, some of the ugliest, ragiest dolls I could find. Does anyone know how I can doctor these dolls up to make them look worse. Also added in this room will be "Slappy" remember him from the goosebumps series. I ordered this dummy off ebay. He stands 30 inches mouth moves....perfect!

Burn the face in a few places, remove an eye or two.
You could hook up a small fountain pump and make them drool.
Use a broken tricycle, spinning in a puddle of blood.
There was ahow to article in HAM on it.

Here's a site with some scary dolls. Scary Dolls
Back before we went the way of the pirates I made a couple of infant mummies out of a couple of my daughters old dolls using plaster bandages and dirt. I've still got them around here somewhere.....
Also, some of the creepiest dolls I've ever seen were done by dressing the dolls in their finest clothes and then burying them in the garden for a month or two. Just don't let the neighbors see you do it.

I really wish my scanner was up and running, but...
We did a room in which we made a bunch of Vampiric Baby Dolls attcking a woman.
The backlash we got from this room was incredible. People thought we were portraying dead babies.
We cut the mouths out of these dolls and put some of those cheap plastic vampire teeth in and had them smeared with fake blood. But I guess if no one took the time to look, they would have just seen the blood and dolls. Considering that we were doing this Haunt to benefit the March of Dimes..it did not go over well."I never drink....wine. Well maybe just this once!"

why do people always have to be so politcaly correct.
A few years ago we were did a parade for our annual folkfest.
I wanted our theme to be Halloween Helping America Heal.
This was in 2004 I wanted some chosen "Monsters" to carry Old Glory. I thought a good Idea. Everyone told me oh dont do that people will get offended........what next?

I agree the politically correct thing has gotten out of hand. Why has nearly everyone gotten so sensitive?
I love the idea of an evil doll theme! Please let us know how it turns out and post lots of pics! Personally, I like the look of cute dolls with very pointy, sharp, steel teeth. That’s creepy to me."Look what your brother did to the door!" Original TCM

Politically correctness....sheesh!
We had a kid who had a trench coat as part of his costume...problem is, this Haunt is in Littleton...same basic area as Columbine High School...he was asked not to wear the trench coat because the two bastards who committed the atrocity wore trench coats......Does that mean that because Ted Bundy wore a white T-shirt, we should all stop wearing white T-shirts???"I never drink....wine. Don't get me started on the PC crap.....
I can't remember who did it but I saw a pneumatic prop that was an evil
baby doll in a basinet that rocked back and forth to some creepy distorted
nursery rhime music and then the greusome infant launched out at the guests.
Didn't someone here do a demonic toddler lunching on a partial corpse in a play pen?

Try to top this for a Hallowe'en related PC blunder. About three years ago the City of Seattle was considering a ban on all organized Hallowe'en Festivities - for fear of offending members of the Wiccan Community!
Back to the Doll Room. Have you thought of combining that theme with a "Dot Room"? Just when your visitors think they've seen enough of the Dolls, Monsters emerge from the Walls!! We did one two seasons ago that blew everybody away. Under that Black Lights, you could stand three feet away fom a Monster and never suspect he was tere. The secret - the Monsters wear the exact same fabric and dot pattern as the walls. We used twisted dots for the "eyes", veryeffective, very scarey. Use tall actors.Wolfman

yes I have thought of the dot room concept...however I have done the dot room three years in a row, some people may expect it, however I thought maybe just have them dress in black to blend and emerge of shadows of the night, and after the doll room I would divide it into a clown room to finish em off.
Looking for some creepy music to go in this room. Here is what I thought, creepy jack in the box or other creepy nursery rymes gone bad I dont know if anyone makes such a thing. Music from the original Amytiville Horror or The kids in Nightmare on elm street. I am open for suggestions if anyone knows of some music that would fit this room.
