A Hallowe'en Scary:


On A Dark Chilly Night, Not A Coweb In Sight,
The Cold Moon Glows Bright On The Black Thing.
It Lay Dead As A Log In The Mist-like Fog And Hovers Over The Bog On The Black Thing.
What's That Dark Velvet Paw? And A Black Piercing Claw? Oh, No, What We Saw On The Black Thing! So We Shrug Off Our Fright And Go Out In The Night, Not Knowing Our Plight On The Black Thing! While The Fierce Winds Howl And The Night Creatures Growl, We Carefully Prowl On The Black Thing. Then, Quick As A Glance (as Though In A Trance) Something Starts In To Dance On The Black Thing! Although We Are Proud We Both Screamed Out Loud At The Quivering Shroud On The Black Thing. Now I Know That I'm Me, And I Know That You're You, But Please Tell Me Who (oh No, It's Not True!) Just A Cat In A Shoe Was The Black Thing???
