Default Costume Theme Ideas

Hey folks, we are at a loss for costume theme ideas. At last years party, we let people verbally throw out ideas and then we had a secret ballot for the theme. The unfortunate winner was "pimps n hos." We don't want to do that! We may include that, but we want something else.

My wife will also be about 7mos pregnant at that time, so we need to be sensitive to that. :-)

I was thinking just doing another classic Halloween party. The "Theme" will be Psycho, at least the entrance and the bathrooms, etc.. However, I don't think I can ask people to dress up only as Norman and "Mother."

We aren't into pirates, either. Yarrrr.

Any ideas?

We did movie monsters recently. I guess it's time to recycle.

Here's the past 4 years.
-1980s television
-Classic Halloween (come as you may)
-Saturday Night Live sketches
-Halloween Monsters

You could do a zombie theme with your wife eating brains for 2.

If it's all couples you could do horror movie match-ups. Like Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein to Michael Myers and Laurie Strode to Jason and a dead camp counselor, Reagan possessed and a priest, etc.

Disco night of the dead.

Rob Zombie covers "I'm your boogy man" and Ozzy covers "Staying alive" for starters.

Could be fun to see a bunch of disco zombies.
My two pennies.

Oddly enough.... we had a couple disco zombies one year. I think they called themselves funkenstein and something else.

I went as disco stu to a party last fall, too.

Not a bad idea...
