    I was at work the other day and a great debate raged on which Amityville horror movie was better The 1979 version with James Brolin or The 2005 version with Ryan Reynolds. And why?

    IMO the original was lame. I watched it for first time two years ago.
    I might watch the remake, but I am in no hurry.

    seems most horror films let me down...the last one i saw that got me thinking was Blair Witch Project...cant think of any besides that,, past or present

    IMHO both were bad....as much as I love the book....Jody is suppose to be a PIG, not a little girl....In the 2005 one, where the hell did all the flies go???
