Has anyone seen the trailer for the new thriller/horror movie called 1408. Starring Samuel Jackson and I think John Cusak. About the haunted hotel room, based on a Stephen King book.
Anyone want to guess what my address is??? Yea it is 1408 is that too cool or what?

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but the movie was kind of cheesy. It felt more like a drawn out episode of the Twilight Zone. But hey, everyone is a critic right?

I saw it this past weekend and thought it was really well done. I would highly recommend it. It'll give you at least a few good scares.
I'm a little bit biased though, I like just about any movie with John Cusak (sp?) in it.
"Identity" is another good movie of his.

Good, I love the Twilight Zone!! Hehe
There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

I took my son to it this weekend, we both liked it. I think I may need to see it a few times to get the full effect.....
I called my local theater today, they will give me the 1408 promotion poster when they are done promoting the movie for my haunted house...

I just got back from seeing it. I thought it was so-so. IT had its good moments but my favorit part was a Haunted mansion reference!!! I was so happy for some reason. I saw the hitcher a few days ago and thought that was much scarier than 1408. After seing the hitcher I hated seeing red doge rams pull up behind me.
    Can you stake my heart?

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I HAVE read the story. Anyone care to compare the two?
