Well It is almost July and that is when I shift to high gear. Just wondering if anyone has plans for '07 or does everyone just wing it?

Planning started back at Christmas, putting together my kids toys.

In fact, '07 has been scaled way back, as you can see if you read through that, in favor of '08. Most of my shopping is already going towards '08, where I'll roll out the snakeoil salesman idea full bore.
Snake Oil Salesman?
I've even commissioned an artist friend of mine to start working on a sign for his stand and labels for the bottles. I suspect I'll be done with '07 building by August and swing right in to working on '08 at that point so I can present it to my satisfaction all at once instead of taking 2 years to build it up like my current setup.

I just started planning for this year. In fact last night, I was gathering up sound effects and music tracks. I edit all my audio tracks and customize everything, which takes awhile. I've also been researching props to make as well.

We've added a few more props to our collection thanks to some sales last November and I'm already scouting out online deals that can still be had at the current time.
My goal is to find an inflatable that knocks the socks off our neighbors 10 foot high Frankenstein! LOLI came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. I'm all out of bubble gum.
Laurie: "Was that the boogeyman?"
Dr. Loomis: "As a matter of fact...that was."

I've been dreaming rather than planning up until now. I've made three new tombstones, bought a case of bluckies from rhode island novelty, a talking bucky skull from cowlacious, a motor mouth from haunt master. Time to get serious now. I still have no design for my new driveway scene. Since it's my major new area I have to make a decision - sea monster, a second pirate ship, pirate jail, what?

In honor of the Broadway opening of "Young Frankenstein" we are doing a Young Frankenstein theme. Have been getting props together for a few months now.

I have been planning for a while, I have been collecting bottles and jars for witch kitchen supplies, I also made a spell bood, turned out pretty good,(made it out of a old Stephen Kings book, " It" I think he would enjoy that!) I got it at a used bok sale at the library, for 25 cents! I also have been papermaching a wig head, and making hand's. The rest is in planning stages right now, though I basically know what I am going to do.
I have flying monkeys- and I'm not afraid to use them!
