I saw Santa at the mall the other day.
Retail is screwy.

I absolutely HATE that the big retailers push the seasons so much. I mean, yeah, Halloween should start in JUne, but they start spring in Feb. and we're just gearing up for winter then.
Sometimes I don't relise I need a new winter jacket til Feb. and they're all off the racks by then. You know, I've always wanted a child. And now I think I'll have one,...on toast!

I agree, the retail seasonal stuff is getting out of hand. I’m looking for a small heater for my office because they keep it at sub-zero temperatures ( which really aggravates my arthritis). Unless you buy one in December or January in Florida, there are none to be found, only fans and cooling devices.
In our area, Halloween stuff comes out around late August at Michaels and mid-September everywhere else. In other words, not soon enough!!"Look what your brother did to the door!" Original TCM

Here in Georgia, it is awful.
Try to buy a fan in August...when you need one. Good luck.
Try to buy a heater in February...when you need one. Good luck.
Our weather is good enough to be outside 99% of the time, but can you buy outdoor furniture and stuff year round?
I have learned to just buy it and anticipate needing it.

The last time I wore a Santa cap too early, I was threatened. By a woman!

My mom works at Hobby Lobby. They put stuff out early, then you have customers that wait till the last minute to buy and theres nothing left. They ask if they are going to get any more in. Hell it's been out for four months, no they are not getting any more this year. LOL a little rant on my moms behalf.

I agree, sometimes I hate walking into a place such as Target at or around Halloween and seeing everything being taken down and replaced with Christmas. Same goes for when it's Christmas, I hate to them taking down the Christmas trees on December 10th and replacing them with Valentines Day.

I don't know about yours, but the Hobby Lobby near me has the worst selection of Halloween items of any store I've seen. I don't even know why they bother stocking anything Halloween related. They should take a tip from Michael's and actually stock something worth buying.
My corner Walgreen's drug store stocks tons more Halloween items and props than Hobby Lobby.
