Thread: How do you start a group?

I am on an extended vacation and i'm bored sick. I've been kicking around the idea of starting a local haunt enthusiast group. You know, the kind where you get together and exchange ideas, have workshops. But I have no idea how I would begin. I know I'm not the only one around here who is a Haunt-ophile. Any ideas?

Maybe. But I was thinking more city/county wide kind of local. I just don't know where to start...flyers maybe?

we have a group that meets in Wilmington, Ohio. We have a great time getting together. If your interested, just let me know and I can give you details.

I just put it out here (because of the large number of Floridians here) and on Haunt Forum about those of us getting together like the NJ group. And everyone started talking and then a prop was decided on and then a date set. It took a few months, but was a blast!

So check out the other Ohio group if they are close enough (being from Michigan, I know how big a state Ohio is!) to go to and if too far try your hand at one more local.
