Thread: Speaking of a TV show with a haunted house

You know what I want to see? I want to see an "American Chopper" style show of a commercial haunt. Think about it. All the drama, all the technical glitches, trying to get it all built and done before the season begins. That would be great. I don't know that I would want it in my haunt, but I think it would be a hit! Look at American Choppers, or Mythbusters, or any of those shows that started out with very humble beginnings. Those shows are about people that seem to do the impossible. I think that haunters do the impossible getting ready for a season of haunting.

I even sent an email to Discovery Channel asking them if they would do a show like that, but of course, no response. I told them they should go find a big haunt and record all the stuff they do to get it up and running in time.

What do you guys think? Would this be a seasonal hit?

I think it could be a one episode show, for sure. Maybe pitch it to other networks. Even channels like a/e and such.

Now that I would watch.

I agree wilbret, probably just a single show, or maybe a 2-part thing.

Woot , I would go for a series every week make a differant prop project. and at the end of each show tell what the project for the next week is and a list of what to buy so you can make and watch it the same time.
and have Tom Alan as MC, I would say Vincent Price but he is getting on in years.

Yeah that would be a cool show... but most people in America are... how should I say this? Normal.

By that You Mean Normal = Boring and they dont have as much fun as us.
