Our Haunted House on TV show

Well, I have been waiting for 6 months now, but the wait is over! The show that used our haunted house for a set is finally airing today! The best part, is you can see the first act of the show right now! Lifetime Movie Networks filmed a murder mystery in our haunted house 1 week after closing for the season last November.

The film crew came in and literally 'moved in' for an entire week, I didn't realize that it took 60 people (actors excluded) to film something like this! Anyway, the show is 'Inspector Mom' and stars Danica McKellar (the actress that played Winnie Cooper alongside Fred Savage in the show 'The Wonder Years' many years ago).

Danica plays Maddie Monroe, who is a murder-solving mom. The show is pretty good. This series is part of a new experiment that LMN Networks is trying out by airing a 2 hour movie back in November to kick the whole thing off, then offers each hour-long episode online as 8 separate 'webisodes'. Each week, a new webisode comes out on Tuesday and Thursday, with each full episode being broken up into 8 webisodes. So basically, it will take 4 full weeks to air the whole episode. After it airs online as a webisode, they'll play it on TV.

Our episode is the one currently playing, which is Haunted House Horrors (I think I remember that right!) I watched it this morning already, it is only about 6 minutes long....

That is sooooo cool, SR. I'm off to watch it right now. I heard/read something about these webisodes. That's great for someone like me who really doesn't watch tv.

Hey Batfly,

Funny you should mention that pop-up guy, he's an old corpse-a-pult from ScareFactory. His original sound controller and trigger mat had broke and are gone, and we've retrofitted him with new gear. But, he still gets a great scare everytime! I can't wait to see if they show some of our other props such as the ScareFactory hellhound, or any of our DeathStudio props! I watched them film a bunch of these scenes, but there's no telling which scenes will actually show up in the final show! SO, basically, it is just as exciting for me as it is for everyone else watching!
