Thread: Talking skulls opinion

For this years display, I am considering two talking skulls on either side of the entry gate.
I wrote a script and I would like to hear your opinions.

I wanted to incorporate the name of my haunt "Noremorse Cemetery."
And the name of my website octobersfade.com (which I still need to design the art work and then have the site built) please let me know what you think.

left and right gate keeper

LGK Beware (loud)
RGK Leave now (loud)

LGK The spirits here will feel no sorrow
RKG Their bodies empty and graves all hollow

LGK The fog rolls in and mists cascade
RKG Building...wanting (loud whisper)...waiting for Octobers fade.

LGK Flee, flee now (loud whisper)
RGK Save yourself
LKG Or stay (soothing)
RGK Choose your course

L&RGK For you have entered the realm of... NO REMORSE (long).

I like it!

I also like it. Gave me an idea also. Maybe have one skull warning you away (the good cop skull), while the other tries to woo you into entering (the bad cop skull).

i like it and the rhyming is great. in my mind i saw a lightning flash and thunder with the words "or stay" and another at the words "no remorse"

Yeah Noah- very creepy and very cool! I can't wait to hear it actually recorded. Great atmospheric writing... did you use a... ghost writer... perhaps?

I plan to do the same thing.
I am collecting lines now.

one I've come up with is:

skull 1 "come on in We won't hurt you... no kids have ever been eaten"

skull 2 "yeah! and if you buy that I got some ocean front property in AZ"

I'd like to have about a 20 min. skit

I read in another post here ( my 3 axis bucky skull,pg3 ) bw1 says that they had talked to the manufactures of the talking boris skull & they may be out again this year with some improvements...... I have one & would love to get a few more. I think that the low end unites like these are more affordable for alot of people to have a talking skull. The high end pc multi servos types are cool,but pricey. The talking boris also had a wireless version,i hope they bring that back. & with the advances with simple servo's & electronics latley, this should be interesting to see what they have for us- if they do re release-
Maybe a stronger servo to allow tipping it forward or backwards a little & better speakers.

GM, I bought the skulltronix last year and I found a lot of people could not (or would not) wait around for the minute and half routine. Unless you have to wait in line a 20 minute skit, while cool, might be overkill. Just my opinion.

I am thinking of a couple of Cowlious skulls, unless we can do talking skulls at the next M&T (hint hint)
