Thread: Halloween in NYC

Hi all, new member here.


I plan to look around and get to know everyone better, but I only have a few minutes for now. I just have a couple questions, any help at all would be appreciated.

I was wondering what the must-do's are in NYC for Halloween, for a 4 day weekend trip, for the young-adult crowd (group of 4-6)?

I've heard of Jekyll and Hyde's for a dinner. I was also interested in a mystery theatre/dinner. I've read there are parade's, etc. Also a haunted house (Blood Manor?) or two.

I did some research on my own, but found only dead links from 2006, so I figured I'd come to a reliable source. I wanted to get started early, so I can't wait to plan much farther down the road. Just wondering people's good experiences and bad ones too. What are must-do's and what to stay away from. Thanks in advance!

BUt not the one in the village. the one uptown, around 58th street.

I also noticed a better time on sat rather than sun afternoon. of coarse there was a longer wait on sat too.
