Thread: Halloween sale. In March??

A craft/teaching supply store in town is going out of business...very very sad. For years this was the ONLY place to buy Halloween gear. They started a sale this week.

This morning, I got:
3 mirror clings (get out, etc)
window posters
scene setter silhouettes
2 halloween sounds CDs
a set of halloween ornaments
51 flashing LED pins

It rang up for $10.47

I don't know if the other stuff sold, if they haven't put it out, or what... but I will probably have to check back every day for all the cool props and such. Right now besides costumes and accessories, they only have the giant hanging props that are still about $60. (although they are probably really $30, I just don't have storage space)

Oh yeah it sold. Sorry... I spent a good 100 to 150 dollars there. I got latex gremilin things for like 2 bucks tombstones pumpkins talking shrunken heads and this......

This is a picture I found on the internet its the same thing except in the middle it has strips of fabric and it was only 15.00 its made out of hard styrofoam

Crap. Oh well, there were a few things left that I will re-investigate.

If you go back and they are more than 50 percent off the marked price could you tell me i want to get soe of that makeup

Hey Wilbret, while you're there, check out if they have any plasticine clay on clearance, you'll need it to fill in the low spots on skulls if you get into making molds. Also, when a local craft chain went out of business here last year, I bought up their hot glue melting pots, and all of the glue sticks they had. I use the melted glue in the pots to dip hair into, before applying it to latex heads, arms, etc.

Good points, vlad. I definitely will look. I was hoping to score some cool science lab stuff too, but it's not on deep discount yet.

And I also went into the section that had mold making and bought the kits that make hand molds. Darn, I wish I was there, lol

The sale on the halloween stuff started a week and a half ago they put new sales on stuff on mondays so i will have to start checking on mondays.

How much Halloween stuff did they have out originally? I was hoping for a couple big spiders and some other stuff.
