After the holidays hijacked my life, I didn't get around to downloading and editing (largely culling bad pics!) my 06 photos. HOWEVER, I got around to it finally, and here are a few. There's still some video to download and take frames from, but that will have to wait on the DH...

This is the yard sans fog (photo taken a couple of days after H-ween). Note the 3 year old blur in the foreground!

Glowing ghostie in the yard: lit with b-light, talked to TOTs as they walked by.

Dancing ghost circle in one garage bay; can't see their faux fire, which didn't photograph well anyway! Pls. disregard the crap in the foreground--we had already packed up the electronics...

A tired but happy moi, after the candy and TOTs were all gone!

There are a couple more photos as well on photobucket: http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s166/gothikim/

I can't get any new photos to upload on halloweengallery or hauntpics, oddly enough...

Beautiful. All of it, yourself included. The neighborhood kids are lucky you live there.

You did a great job on the dancing ghost, I love that. I'm going to have to "borrow" that idea for next year. Also, the purple or red lit tree, was that a real tree or a metal tree with lights?? I like that idea as well.
There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

I adore the eerie, etherial effect of all the ghosties, especially the circle. Brava! Brava!

    Gothikim,
Great job. Everything looks great. I hope you can respond to the question about the light under the ghost.

WOW! I have dial-up and it was WORTH the wait! LOL!

Fan-super-tastic! Looove the ghosts! Very clever. My suggestion to anyone wanting to weather-proof the ghosts would be to simply add a bit of clear plastic visqueen in the build. Just be sure to keep it far enough above the light to keep it from melting. I'll bet that an underpinning of clear sheeting would not only keep the rain out...but would carry and disburse more light through it than fabric alone...adding a cosmetic benefit on top of the practical!

    WOW!!!!
Please tell me what material you used and where did you put the light for the dancing ghosts.
We're they spinning? If so, what did you use for the spinning mechanism?

Expect pictures of my 2007 display looking very similar to these!
