Will be $12.oo a ticket, finally raised after 7 (?") years of remaining at $10.oo.
House tours do take usually 90 minutes or more to traverse 5,200 sq. feet of seven physical levels of 1870 Italianate inn filled with my original artistic endevours and some real ghosts, occassionally.
We tailor tours for whatever kind of a group is looking at me, young, old, nervous or not. Would you like it somewhat humorous or dead serious when I tell about the hauntings suffered here by many?
No chainsaws, bloodbaths or Hollywood monsters here (Hey go see that everywhere else if you want to!) I work from my own ideas of what constitues a "Monster" and of course also touching upon those basic human fears along the way too. (Like being locked in a small room with a life insurance salesman? No, Woody, we wouldn't go THAT far!) (Old joke from Woody Allan)
See the website if you wish : hauntedravensgrin.com

    $10.oo now $12.oo, looks like it's a new times/table for my head!

    "Well worth the price"...Thank you!
All the money I spent on those Hypnosis books when I was a kid really did pay off, didn't it?

Gym: I’ve never been to your haunt but from all I’ve read and the pics on your website I’d gladly pay double that amount. Of course, if I ever make it there I’ll conveniently forget that I said that. LOL

...and then at the house tour's conclusion you will have the awe, wonder and adrenaline rushing and you will become a Ravens Grin groupie and begin compulsively sending me alittle cash in the mail every week.....

The cost to get out has occassional been mentioned here.
The other unusual mention happens maybe half way through the tour when the customer suddenly, trully realises that even though they paid ME to be in here, I am the one non-stop laughing having even more fun than anyone else!
"And We paid YOU to be here?"
Laughter is contageous, please do not get your shots before you come here,
    Penillcillun or whiskey.
I love audiences with attention spans, the more attention they pay to what's happening here either the more entertained or the more scared they will become. Either way they really do get their money's worth, I hope and believe.

One busy October night a few years ago as the line was buying their tickets a young couple said, "We are on our honeymoon, we are from Chicago,...oh, we don't have enough money to get in your house."
    (Oh well?)
    "Next!"
Then a few people behind them began loudly saying I'm a money-grubber *&#$%@...because I wouldn't give them a free tour.
"Well, if you feel that strongly about them seeing my house, there is nothing stopping you people from paying for it, is there?"
They took up a collection(amid some grumbling) and they came in. BUT. If I was in Chicago , on my honeymoon , and I didn't have an extra $20.oo in my honeymoon pocket, I would be more worried about getting back home!
I'm sure if I went to see a Cubs or Bears game and I didn't have enough money for the tickets that they would just let me in for free, right?
How do you spell that word ? "Naieve? naeive? Something like that?
It really does "take all kinds ", doesn't it?

$12.00 a ticket is very reasonable. Didn't you say HalloweenForum members get a 50% discount on tickets?
(Remember we're all BIG tippers, too!!)
