yes people their is hope with Gemmy customer services..last year they wore totaly no help with 4 props i bought from them ...maybe they had a change of personel , or a new compagny policy to satisfy their customer this year but i purchased 3 life size props before christmas , and some of you helped me out as all 3 had malfunctions (i posted that in prop section).....well i got home yesterday to find a uge box sitting in front of my door , it was a life size mad scientist ......they wore suppose to send me a head replacement but no they sent the hole prop .....and was tested before sending.....he works great....i was thrilled and very suprised as their customer services never wore of any help before....maybe because i told them the store i bought it from and said they wore not much help ? but that store worked also with gemmy to get me a head replacement because they wore not use to ship large props to Canada and so their return policies wasnt just not adjusted for Canadian shiping.....but the scientist also had a broken arm.....i sent video clips of him and pictures to the store and gemmy customer service of all 3 props maybe thats what got them moving fast ?
and gemmy customer service also said after the holidays they would try and replace the mummy bride head that is also defective , happy days !!!!
they didnt do anything for lazy eye frankenstein doh but hey .....i am at least happy scientist works and if mummy's head is replaced they made good with me![]()

Well it sounds like Gemmy may be getting a little better. So far none of the gemmy produsts I have bought have been defective. I guess I am one of the lucky few. Never was able to find the Mad Scientist myself. I wish their were places that still sold the Gemmy Halloween line, but guess I will have to wait a few months.

Witch From Canada: Thanks for sharing this info. Sounds like your persistence with Gemmy paid off. We’re going to renew our efforts to get a replacement head for our defective mad scientist.

Mrs Leatherface.....keep bugging them , last year i just gave up right away.....this time 3 diffrent props all new defective it was enough for me to get mad......take a video clip with a digital cam and email them ......if everyone gets persistant with them maybe they will start fixing their props before selling them
tell them also where you got your prop from (store) they might help for a refund or replacement with the store like they did with me...
