I just got back from JoAnn Fabrics.

If anybody is interested, they are having an after Christmas sale.

All clearance fabric is an additional 50% off of the already reduced price.

I just picked up more fabric for my stash. If you do go, be sure to check the price since bolts of fabric get misplaced on clearance shelves. Clearance fabric is usually marked with a sticker. The ladies who work at the cutting stations can scan the price for you before cutting.

The Halloween Costume Collection fabric is 70% off, too! One of our JoAnn's has alot to choose from. I haven't checked the others yet. I'll post this under costumes, too.

I once found an unusual bolt of fabric that scared and repelled the employee running the cash register when she had to handle it! hahahah!
It is red velour type material with large stylised snakes, spiders, purple cockroaches and green lizards all over it. the spiders are about 8 inches in diameter, the snakes life-sized too.
These made really nice covers for my two couches in the Spookhouse front room.
I just posted about this to show everyone that you can find some neat haunted house stuff even in non-haunt type stores and just to brag about my find, of course! hahahah!

Nice find, Gym. I bought some maroon satiny upholstery fabric with diamond shapes sewn into it. There were two young girls at the counter cutting and of course they asked what I was making. I told them I was lining a casket with it! Both their eyes dropped and they acted like they should say condolences until I told them it was just for a prop in my hearse. Then they really didn't know what to say. I think the fact that I'm in my 50's really freaked them out! LOL.
