I first saw it listed here in the links section. I live here in NJ and never heard of it before. I already get together with other NJ haunters for prop making sessions, I think I prefer doing that.

In the past I have had groups who really wanted to do a Halloween in December sort of a thing here in my haunted house. Most of the time the weather is the big spoiler. "0" degrees air temperature and maybe alot of snow kind of cools everyone's "jets" to having something happen.
The Christmas and other holiday breaks for the college kids has seen them coming here to take a tour of my house though......I'm open almost every night of the year. I try to put a warning on my answering machine advising everyone not to chance it though if the forecast is too scary since most people are driving a distance to get here.
The majority of the population totally forgets about Halloween and all the associated fun once it's "Turkey-Time"."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

A good point on the Halloween in December website... there is never enough time for Halloween.
That's one reason I think it should twice a year... Oct. 31 and April 30. Or, even better, all year long!

If you own or run a haunted house , you basically miss October! You are too busy handling the employees and the customers.
I have been open for house tours of my haunted house almost every night for the last (almost) 20 years."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
