I've been on this forum for a wile. Been through a lot of changes over the years. When I joined this place there were around 20 members and only one page to post on. Larry's done a great jog in not only keeping a good eye on the place but expanding it. Making it easier to post and find things. Larry, I hope you stay on as a member. Probably be a lot more fun just posting than trying to keeping an eye on brats like me. LOL
I had belonged to other types of forums before looking for one centered around Halloween. I found forum after forum that had hundreds of posts but no current active members. The last posts being months to almost a year old. So I read the last few posts in each one. These forums, some having over 1000 members, self disinitegrated with hateful BS. The longevity of this forum and the amount of active members is in direct proportion to the amount of work Larry's put in to this place. Sure, a forum is only as good as the folks that post. Larry's done a great job keeping good folks here by keeping the BS to a standstill.

The cold winter air lets me know I'm still alive. I feel it as I breath in and see it as it leaves me. It's the point in-between I'm not sure about.....

Well Said Putrid!
I have not been around too long here as a member but I was a lurker for sometime. I also looked at forums like you Putrid.........what was the content and how active they were and how many people really participated in keeping it going.
I found this forum to be amazing and what really sold me was how everyone respected each other here. Thats hard to find on the Net.
I don't know Larry very well but can compliment him on the wonderful job he has done here and the fine following of folks he has here. You people are some of the nicest I have met on the Internet . I hope everything stays the same!

Very well put Putrid.
I also have seen other sites with the last post being months to a year old and no members posting.
I've also seen other forums where members don't seem to get along with each other and try to antagonize each other.
That is why I like it here, no bs, no fighting , and a lot of great people helping each other .
Larry, I thank you for a great forum and all the work you put into it, and I hope whatever you decide to do you succeed at it.
Best wishes to you.Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional

If the who ever acquires this site runs it 1/3 as well as Larry, it will be great. I am a member of about a half-dozen other forums, and this is one of my favorites! Larry, you've done a great job, and I can only wish you the best!

Let's hope this forum continues the high standards that we have right now! It would be a huge loss to see it lose what Larry has started.

It takes a lot of time and money to run forums well.
I've truly enjoyed coming here to exchange thoughts, ideas and enthusiasm. It's the enthusiasm that brings me back. I'm always amazed at how happily everybody shares their methods, designs and how-to. That's what makes it special.
Larry, thanks and hopefully this forum will continue to thrive.

What more can I add? It has all been said.
Hope you stick around, Larry. The place won't be the same without you!
