Being That The Nearest K-mart Store To Me Is In Lufkin I Believe. I Thought Why Not Order A Few Clearance Things Online From Them. If You Haven't Noticed If You Order Something Online It Will Tell You Thier Inventory Count As Well.
....well, If You Haven't Seen All The K-mart Halloween Commercials How They Have The Grim Reaper Gemmy Globe On There. Well It Went 50 Percent Off On The Site And I Ordered It. Next Day They Cancel My Order. So I Called Cs Rep, And They Said It's In Stock, I'm Going To Put A "research" On That For You. They Canceled It And Didnt Want To Ship It Because That Would Be A Loss $$$$$$ For Them.
From My Experience They Are Horrible W/ Customer Service Online, And I Will Never Order Online From Them Again.
It's All About The $$$$$ With That Company.
Ughhhhhhhh,

Same thing happened when I tried to buy a discontinued comfortor set! I ended up getting the rest of the missing pieces through eBay. I wish I could follow up for you, I felt I had been lied to by kmart online and refuse to shop there.
Kmart online has quite a few 'bugs' in it, evidently. Oftentimes, they can't get their local stores to adhere to their refund poilicy. Some patrons have been told they they do not honor the online flyer, although the same flyer may be found in the store! Or, a person will bring an item received form online back to the store because Kmart made the mistake, but the customer service desk refuses to refund shipping.
I would suggest calling their corporate line, 1-866-562-7848, and stating that you were aware of the inventory and you deserve an explaination as to why your order was cancelled.
If you want to read about how others have handled their issues with Kmart, try this link here or maybe this one, or perhaps even this one.
This problem seems so prevalent that a) I'm sure there are people who have been able to get some sort of satisfaction from the company and b) you'd think that kmart would have fixed these issues by now.

I agree! I have never shopped online with them but last year in the store I had a really bad experience. I bought one of those large inflatibles, a huge Frankenstein that sits a large chair. I had not seen it anyplace else but managed to find it online for a much higher price than they were selling it for. Even tho the box was taped I went ahead and took it. ( Probably was returned prior to my buying it)
We got it home and set it up and immediately the air went out of it. I called them back and the girl on the phone gave me such a hard time and then she started yelling at me. I was furious and went down there with receipt in hand and told them>>>>Look we just bought this thing but they wanted to act like we did something to it.
The way she talked me was unbelievable. I told her ...you get your main office on the phone because I want you to hear what I'm going to say to them. Boy her attitude changed immediately and she refunded my money right away. That was the last time I went in a K-mart. Martha Stewart better get them some training on refund policies and how to talk to customers, an anger management class might help too!

I try to give k-mart my bussiness sometimes, just because the crowds are smaller than wal-mart. But most of the time they dont have what Im looking for and I end up going to wal-mart anyway.

I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience - I almost always find what I need in the store, and never have a problem when I make a return. Never tried them onl-line;doesn't sound very tempting.
Shopping there is a relief compared to Maul-Mart though (if only K-M had the grocery to compete head-to-head!) You're right, they can stick Martha Stewart (to cope I like to think of her as their touch-of-Halloween 24/7/365!!
