Stroms7,
Nice pictures!
You also have a lot going on and it looks like you have a large crew. I just have myself and my wife. We always hope some of the neighbor kids will ask (when they get to old for TOTing) to join us. But in 2006 it was just the two of us."Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Double, double toil and trouble-- Something wicked this way comes "

You must have a basement to store all your wonderful props, lucky you!!
By the way, I love the two guys on the bench, great masks!!There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing.
I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

MsMeeple,
My son got me the legs from a store he made deliveries to. He got the strangest looks when he was driving the semi the rest of the day.
I guess that makes the Halloween Haunt a family affair."Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Double, double toil and trouble-- Something wicked this way comes "

Maureenpr,
I don't have a lot of space for props. The rule is - If I make it I have to store it. All the outdoor props are stored in the rafters of the garage. It takes a lot of planning to make it all fit. We have toyed with a third stall on the garage just so I could have more space for Halloween. Too bad that hasn't happened.
The masks on the two guys on the bench actually attended a wedding in October. They showed up during the dollar dance. The married couple still come by the haunt every year and laugh about that part of their wedding when they see the masks."Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Wow--
I was outside this weekend setting up for the other holiday and my neighbor said "I saw you made the paper."
I was thinking he was joking. He said that the local paper had an article with photos of my Halloween set up. How cools is that. I went in and talked with my wife and asked her if she knew about it. She said "Oh yeah, didn't I tell you they called?"
Ah - NO!
It was cool to see!
I figure it must have been a slow news day to include my haunt. Sorry - no links since it is a rather small paper.
