Nice job Max!
Did you get some of your stuff from the party store on Silver Springs Blvd? I got my "torn off" arms there. I was so excited to see someone finally realized we need bilateral appendages! I also got some pirate eye patches and a sword there. I loved their packages of meat market body parts.
So, still thinking about moving? You're welcome here in Inverness!

No ish, I got a couple of things from wal mart. The rest was spirit, spencers and fright catalog. I am definitely moving, but it is gonna take me a couple of years to get my finances in order to do it right. I think inverness is a little further commute than I want to Gainesville. May go to Alachua or out around melrose somewhere, get a couple of acres in the country. I will miss the thousands of people here on halloween night though.

Driving to Gville, definitely move a bit north! LOL
I am sorry that you feel you have to move at all. I would give anything to live in our family home. My mom sold it for dirt cheap and the way the new owners changed it still p/o's me after almost 30 yrs.
But it is probably for the best in my case. My sister is still living in a house we also owned which is right next door and is sick because several yrs ago a corn processing plant that gives off a constant plume of "just steam" was put in down the road and we'd be in that too if we lived there. Hubby's job search brought us to Florida.
We got about 120 or more through our yard. Which was A LOT to me!

Max, it looks awesome!! How many hours does it take to set up? You must have a large shed for storage.

cobler, this year I expanded a lot from years past. I started building walls in what little bit of spare time I could find in about august. The walls slowly got built and setup between then and the big day. All the other decorations went up halloween day and most of it came down halloween night. The walls took me 2 full days to take down and stack out back. Definitely came down a lot faster than it went up. The walls stay outside, the rest pretty much fills up a 12 x 20 foot shed.

Wow! That's some serious use of black plastic! LOL!
Very elaborate set-up and a nice collection of props too. One thing I didn't quite get were the IV bags taped to the house.
Please post the night time vid when you can.
