Inside the Cave we used "This is Hallowe'en" during the Raffle pulling, then, as the Chainsaw guy came through the curtain, we switched to the "Psycho" shower sequence. Outside the kids heard muted versions of "Strange Magic" by ELO at the Cauldron Witch, "Spooky" by the Classics IV at the static Ghost prop and Rick James' "Superfreak" in front of the Laser-Beam Hag. The older folks recognized the tunes and loved it. Smaller kids just thought it was neat.

The Graveyard scene was a combination of wav. files and a cut from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion "Grim Grinning Ghosts". The Halloweentown display in the garage was "This is Halloween" to which all the animatronics sang.
I don't want to just scare them... I want to mess them up for life!

I have used many tracks over the years for back Ground music....Like "Darkness" from the Legend soundtrack, The theme from the '92 Bram Stokers Dracula.....
As far as songs, I have used Alice Cooper's "Welcome To My Nightmare" at the entrance to the Haunt, "Summer Breeze" by Type O Negative in the graveyard, and many others...including "Wierd" Al Yankovich's "Nature Trail to Hell""I never drink....wine. Well maybe just this once!"

I used a Drew's cd that has movie themes and I like to loop "Halloween". I always seem to go back to that one every year.

Weather prevented me from getting the jungle sounds set up by the road so all I had this year was a mix I made for the headhunters hut that included drums, chanting, the didgeridoo and jungle sounds all interwoven and a compilation of sea shanties in the background once you made it to the treasure area.

I had a big graveyard this year, so I really didn't need multiple sounds. I used Graveyard 2006 by Grim Visions (many thanks to whoever made that. I know you're around here somewhere on the forums!).

My "Soundtrack" is mostly the ambient sounds coming from this 136 year old house. "Creak, groan, moan."
With it fairly quiet here some people sometimes hear the supernatural calling them by their first name.
This has happened numerous times in the one bedroom ever since before I owned the house in 1970.
Then the real scary sounds can also be heard , the sound of someone passing gas as that taco and beer say, "Hi!""My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
