Hehe...
We took down most of the display today. My DH loaded the tombstones onto a cart for transport down the road and up the long driveway. On the way, unbeknownst to him, the fake crow that was attached to one of the gravestones fell off. When he got to the house and noticed it missing, he walked back to find it. All he really had to do was follow the sound of the real live crows that were cawing and screeching over one of their "dead brothers" who was lying in the drive.
When he got there and picked it up, the crows got even more raucous. So he held it up and shook it and said, "You guys are next." He tucked it in his shirt so they wouldn't attack him for that comment and headed back to the house. The crows went silent.

When those "dumb" birds were making such a scene and a fuss some of them were probably raiding a sack lunch on the front seat of the truck or taking the ignition key from the switch>>>>>

That's insane!

We had a cat once who crawled into a visiting missionary's car and ate their McDonald's hamburger while we were talking on the porch, but the birds seem much smarter!
