Thank you!
yes, those are the infamous blowmold "Blucky" skeletons from Big Lots. I install PVC inside them for posing. I have 19 of them total, but I don't think I used all of them this year. I just painted them with a coat of brownish black latex exterior paint, then dry brushed over them with a bit of grey paint. I have some pics of the process here:

Thanks again, to everyone... I just like making stuff for myself, showing it off is all gravy! ;-)

Aw, heck , now ya done gone and made me blush. Thank you very much. It's funny, I feel like I did so much work on new stuff this year, but when I look at my pictures, I just don't see much that is new looking. I guess that's because I see it all day long, every day. I am SO looking forward to next year, just to prove that I can pull it all off AND enjoy myself at the same time. I feel like the party and Halloween just passed right on by me and I missed it because I spent so much time working on it all and suddenly it was over and there wasn't any FUN there for me those 2 nights.
But, YOU-- I just got done looking at your pictures for this season-- HOLY CARP! You have a BOo-tiful home, and you really do have an eye for decor! WOW!! I loved all of it, and the FOOD youmade! Oh mygosh!!! Thanks for adding to my ever-growing list of stuff I wanna make.
Man, I am starving now thanks to seeing all those goodies y'all had laid out. And the JoL with the cauliflower spilling out-- I love it! And your gourds are beautiful... I really need to grow some one of these seasons.
You did a LOT to make sure your guests had a good experience and I give you big kudos for that. Presentation, decor.. you got it all going on. I LOVE your witch's hat too, it is gorgeous! I love that you took pictures of the ToTs and their families. I wanted to do that for the past few years, but I just run out of time to make it happen. The little boy in the vampire costume with the googley eyes on just cracked me up, he's so adorable.
Anyway, I am rambling now. I gotta catch up on looking at everyone else's pictures as well. I'm still so far behind with reading posts..

Awwwwwwwwwwww Sh-CRAP! I got too busy to remember too! My apologies!! Send me your snail mail addy offlist so I can add you to my invite list for 2007. My biggest problem, because I DID forget several people, is that if they aren't in my address book for snail mail, I forget them! I'm trying to fix that problem for this year NOW before I forget..LOL

Great job inside and out. I like the knife holder in the kitchen. What a great idea with the bluckies from Big Lots. I have a few that the Arizona heat has done some damage to that I'm going to fix with the pvc. Thanks for posting the instructions.
