Speaking of Christmas, how many of you do Christmas displays? And better yet, anybody work a Halloween creature into it?
We put up lights and some lighted Christmas figurines, but I'm more into keeping it small and intimate. The only 'ooky' thing we did was put a black light inside one of our Santas...good times...

Well, I am thinking about using the stand I built my witches on to make a snowman. Like with clothes on and stuff. Since I just love snowmen! Don't know how well that will go,but thought about it.

I leave all the strands of lights on their stakes along our driveway and we remove the purple and orange lights and replace them with the Xmas mix. And of course we use all the floodlights.
In the house the silver metallic material that is draped in my foyer stays put and the halloween lights and decorations come down and the Xmas garland goes up with Xmas lights.....sure wish I had more I could use.

I tend to be somewhat more subtle with Yule/Christmas. We have a few tomato cages that I welded the ends together on, to make cones, basically...these get covered with small white lights to make a SMALL forest. The only Halloween thing that gets incorporated is inside...the ghost ornament on the Christmas tree/Yule Shrub.

My wife said she'd miss "Eddie", our Gemmy Edwardian butler, so I said we can leave him up, just put a white beard and Santa hat on him for Christmas...
He's going back in the box today...

My son asked if we could just put Christmas lights up in the Graveyard and a Santa hat on the Reaper....
I told him that the neighbors thought we were weird enough already!
