I didn't complete everything on my 'to do' list (FYI: 10 sandbags is not enough to hold down a witch). However, according to one little ToT, we had the "awesomest yard on base!" and a very excited "can you do this again next year?!?" They may have been only 5 but I'll take it. We had a good turn out, ~200 kids, despite the cold. Now it's time to look at next year's 'to do' list....

Snow....at Halloween.... I can tell you right now, that if I had snow in my front yard, my a** would be sitting in front of the TV set, not shuffling around in the front yard trying to look dead.
.....and the costumes..."oh look, it's an Eskimo"...and there's another....and another.....

I'm in Edmonton. We have been here for 5 years now and I have yet to accept the fact that we have snow on Halloween. Don't think I'll ever get used to it...maybe we'll get posted somewhere warmer. On the bright side, snow is great for hiding wires. That's about it!

ah thats what i tought , you guys always have snow early there....
nice to meet you Wonderfully wicked.....do you need to move often or do you expect to be able to stay there for quite awhile ?
i am in a village (little township) called Roxton Falls , it s in between Granby (15 min) or Drummondville (30 min) , or Sherbrooke(30 min).....so i am about 1 hour from Montreal city and 2 hours from Quebec city....i am not a big city gal , love the peace and quiet too much for that and for my second love after halloween wich is gardening , i need tons of room for that too
and even if i was born and raise here in Quebec , i am not a snow person either , i like it in december for 1 month for the holidays , after that it could all go away and be spring lol....
a bientot
